The aim of this research was to know significance differences of science competence between students who learned by talking stick learning model based on concept song and students who learned by conventional learning in grade V students of SD Gugus Budi Utomo, Denpasar Timur, year 2016/2017. This research was quasi experimental, with Non-Equivalent group design. The population of this research was all students in grade V of SD Gugus Budi Utomo, Denpasar Timur, that consisted of 315 students. The sample was taken by scrambled group. The sample of this research was students in class VA SDN 1 Kesiman and students in class V SDN 2 Kesiman. The data about students science competence gathered using objectives instrument. The test of science competence was given in the post-test. After that by using hypothesis test, it was found that (tcount =5,000 > ttable=2,000) with 5 % significance degree and dk=62. It was found that the average gains score of experiment groups =0,52 > =0,27 controlling group, the conclusion from that result was talking stick learning model based on concept song has significance influenced with students science competence in grade V SD Gugus Budi Utomo, Denpasar Timur, year 2016/2017.
