PENGARUH MODEL SNOWBALL THROWING BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan Media Gambar dengan siswa yang tidak dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan Media Gambar di kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng yang banyaknya 202 orang siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD N 5 Banyuning dan SD N 2 Banyuning yang berjumlah 77 orang siswa. Data tentang hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan instrumen berupa tes obyektif bentuk pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis menggunakan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan Media Gambar dengan siswa yang tidak dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan Media Gambar (thitung lebih besar dari ttabel) dengan db = 75 dan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini berarti, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing berbantuan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng.Kata Kunci : snowball throwing, gambar dan hasil belajar
This research aims to know the difference that significant of the result in science learning between the students who are taught through the Snowball Throwing learning model using media picture with the students are not taught through the Snowball Throwing learning model using media picture. In Elementary School of grade V (five), group I, Buleleng Subdistrict. The population of this research is students in Elementary School of grade V (five), group I, Buleleng Subdistrict are 202 students. The sample of the research is the students of grade V SD N 5 Banyuning and SD N 2 Banyuning which amounted to 77 students. Data on science learning outcomes were collected by instruments in the form of regular multiple choice test. The data of the results of science learning are collected with the instrument of multiple choice test. The data are analyzed using the t-test. The result of the research shows that there are the significant difference of sciene learning between the students that are taught through the Snowball Throwing learning model using media picture with the students are not taught through the snowball throwing learning model using media picture (tcount is greater than ttable) with db = 75 and the standard significant = 5%. This means that there is an influence of cooperative learning model of Snowball Throwing learning model using media picture on significant learning outcomes of IPA in grade V of elementary school in Gugus I Buleleng Subdistrict, Buleleng Regency.
