PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Problem Solving dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan model pembelajran Problem Solving. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen semu yang menggunakan desain non-equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD N di Gugus III Kecamatan Pekutatan dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD N 2 Medewi sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SD N 2 Pulukan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dengan instrument tes hasil belajar IPA. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving dengan perolehan hasil analisis (t=4,08 dan Sig.(2-tailed)=0,000) deangan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving. Jadi, model pembelajaran Problem Solving berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci : Problem Solving, hasil belajar, IPA
This research aims to know the significant difference between the students science achievements who were taught through Problem Solving learning model with groups of students who were taught without the use of Problem Solving learning model. This research is an artificial experiments that use of non-equivalent design post test only control group design. The population of this research were the entire class V elementary school in Pekutatan Subdistrict III Cluster and the research samples were the entire class V sutudents in SD N 2 Medewi as the experimental group and the entire class V sudents in SD N 2 Pulukan as the control group . The data collection were using a test method by applying instrument of science study results. The data analysis were conducted by using t-test. The results of the research shows that there is significant difference toward the science achievements between students taught using Problem Solving learning model which has analysis results as t= 4.08 and Sig.(2-tailed)= 0.000, and students taught without the use of Problem Solving learning model. Thus, the Problem Solving learning model affects significantly the results of the science achievments.
