This study aims to determine the difference between IPS learning outcomes between students who follow the Learning Model Think Pair Share (TPS) with the help of Picture Media with students who follow conventional learning in third grade students in Bangli district court II of 2016/2017. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The quasi experimental design used in this study is post-test only control group design. The population of this research is all students in third grade students in Bangli district court II of 2016/2017. The sample was determined by random sampling technique and obtained SDN 2 Kawan as experiment class which amounted to 28 people and SDN 5 Kawan as control class which amounted to 29 people. The students' IPS learning result data was collected using multiple choice-shaped test method. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). Based on result of data analysis, obtained tcount = 10,11 and ttable at significant level 5% = 2,004 and experiment group average score is 21,28 bigger than average score of control group that is 13,9.This means tcount> ttable, so it can be stated that there is a significant difference of IPS learning outcomes between students who follow the learning with Think Pair Share (TPS) model assisted picture media with students who follow conventional learning.
