Pengaruh Pendekatan Kontekstual Berbantuan Media Konkret Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika dengan Kovariabel Kemampuan Numerik pada Siswa Kelas IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan media konkret terhadap hasil belajar matematika dengan pengendalian kemampuan numerik. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Singel Factor Independent Group Design With Use of Covariate. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar Gugus V Mandala Giri Kecamatan Kubutambahan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 47 orang siswa. Data hasil belajar matematika dikumpulkan dengan tes hasil belajar matematika dan data kemampuan numerik dikumpulkan dengan tes kemampuan numerik dengan bentuk soal berupa pilihan ganda. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan statistik deskriptif, Uji-t, dan ANACOVA satu jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan media konkret dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional, (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan media konkret dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional setelah pengaruh kovariabel numerik dikendalikan, dan (3) terdapat kontribusi kemampuan numerik terhadap hasil belajar matematika dengan kontribusi sebesar 31,30%.Kata Kunci : hasil belajar matematika, kemampuan numerik, pendekatan kontekstual
This study was aimed at investigating the effect of concrete media-assisted contextual approach to mathematics learning outcomes with numerical control competence. This study used the design of Single Group Independent Group Design With Use of Covariate. The population in this research is the fourth graders of Grade V Mandala Giri Kubutambahan districts in 2016/2017 with sample of 47 students. Mathematics learning result data was collected by mathematics learning test and numerical competence data was collected by numerical ability test with question form of multiple choice. Data analysis used in this research is with descriptive statistic, Test-t, and ANACOVA one way. The result of the research shows that (1) there are differences in mathematics learning outcomes between students learning under the contextual approach with concrete media and students learning under the conventional learning approach, (2) there is difference of mathematics learning result between students learning under the media-assisted contextual learning approach with concrete media and students learning under the conventional learning approach after numerical covariable influence is controlled, and (3) there is a contribution of numerical competence to mathematics learning result with contribution of 31,30%.
