KORELASI ANTARA GAYA BELAJAR DENGAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPS SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS 1 KECAMATAN MENGWI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya belajar dengan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus 1 Kecamatan Mengwi tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto, korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang ada di SD Gugus 1 Kecamatan Mengwi yang berjumlah 157 orang. Sampel ditentukan dari populasi menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling dan jumlah sampel dari populasi ini adalah 110 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah hasil dari pengisian tes gaya belajar oleh responden, sedangkan data tentang kompetensi pengetahuan IPS didapat melalui pencatatan dokumen. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tehnik korelasi point triserial. Hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 1,228, sedangkan pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk 108 diperoleh nilai ttabel = 1,980 sehingga thitung = 1,228 < ttabel = 1,980. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian maka hipotesis nol (H0) diterima dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan antara gaya belajar dengan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus 1 Kecamatan Mengwi Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : gaya belajar, kompetensi pengetahuan IPS
This study aims to determine the relationship between learning styles with the mastery of the knowledge competence of IPS students of class V SD Gugus 1 Mengwi District academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is ex post facto, correlational research. The population of this study is all students of class V that exist in elementary school 1 Mengwi District, amounting to 157 people. Samples were taken from the population using a proportional random sampling technique and the sample size of this population was 110 people. The data collected is the result of filling the learning style test by the respondent, while the data on IPS knowledge competence is obtained through document recording. Statistical analysis used in this research is the technique of correlation of triserial point. The results of data analysis obtained t count = 1.228, while at 5% significance level and dk 108 obtained ttable value = 1.980 so tcount = 1.228 keyword : learning styles, IPS knowledge competencies
