PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS II KECAMATAN MELAYA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berbantuan media visual dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus II Kecamatan Melaya di Kabupaten Jembrana Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental) dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah post-test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus II Kecamatan Melaya di Kabupaten Jembrana Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 108 orang. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Random Sampling yaitu: siswa kelas V SD N 2 Melaya yang bejumlah 28 orang dan siswa kelas V SD N 4 Melaya yang berjumlah 24 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda objektif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berbantuan media visual dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh thitung = 4,87> ttabel = 3,182 dengan db = 50 dan taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berbantuan media visual lebih dari kelompok kontrol yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru yaitu: 18,00 > 12,64. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berbantuan media visual berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD N 4 Melaya Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.

This research almed to determine the difference of significant learning outcames of natural science learning between students who were taught by cooporative learning model type think pair share assisted visual media and students who were taught by teacher – centered learning in class V of elementary school gugus II Melaya district in Jembrana regency period 2016/2017. The type of this research was quasi experiment and used post-test only control group desigh as the research desigh. The population in this research was all elementary students in class V of gugus II Melaya district Jembrana regency period 2016/2017, which amounted to 108 students. The samples of this research were taken by random sampling technique, that were students of class V SD N 2 Melayawhich amounter to 28 students and students of class V SD N 4 Melaya which amounted to 24 students. The data of, students learning outcomes in natural science learning were collected by using multiple choice test the obtained data were aralyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The result showed the significant differences in learning outcomes between students who were taught by think pair share learning model assisted visual media and students who were taught by teacher-centered learning. Based on the analysis result obtained thitung = 4,87>ttabel =3,182 with db =50 and 5% significance level. The average value of the experimental group that was taught by cooperative learning model type of think pair share assisted visual media greater than the control group that was taught by teacher-centered learning, that is 18,00 > 12,64. This, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model type. Think pair share assisted visual media has a positive learning to the outcomes in learning natural science in students class V SD N 4 Melaya period 2016/2017.
