PENGARUH PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK BERBASIS PEMECAHAN MASALAH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada beberapa permasalahan: 1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa masih berada di bawah nilai KKM sekolah. 2) Guru kurang menerapkan model pembelajaran yang inovatif. 3) Proses belajar mengajar masih berpusat pada guru. 4) guru tidak mengaitkan pembelajaran dengan kehidupan nyata dan 5) siswa kurang mampu menyelesaikan soal belajarnya sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik berbasis pemecahan masalah terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas V semester genap tahun belajar 2016/2017 di SD gugus VII Kecamatan Seririt Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD di Gugus VII Kecamatan Seririt Kabupaten Buleleng yang berjumlah 194 orang. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Lokapaksa berjumlah 31 orang dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Lokapaksa berjumlah 32 orang, yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Data hasil belajar matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji–t polled parians). Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan rata–rata kelompok eksperimen adalah 22,91 dan rata-rata kelompok kontrol adalah 14,31 hal ini berarti rata-rata eksperimen > rata-rata kontrol, selanjutnya hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan thitung 5,37 > ttabel 1,65, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik berbasis pemecahan masalah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas V semester genap tahun belajar 2016/1017 di SD Gugus VII Kecamatan Seririt Kabupaten Buleleng.

This research was conducted based on several problems: 1) Students' mathematics learning outcomes are still below the value of school KKM. 2) Teachers are lacking in applying innovative learning models. 3) The learning process is still teacher-centered. 4) the teacher does not relate learning with real life and 5) the students are less able to solve their own learning problem. The purpose of this study is to determine the significant effect of realistic mathematics learning approach based on problem solving on mathematics learning outcomes in grade V students even semester year of study 2016/2017 in elementary school VII Seririt District Buleleng District. This research is a quasi experimental research with post-test only control group design. The population of this research is V grade elementary school in Serang VII District Seririt Buleleng regency which amounted to 194 people. The sample of the research is the students of grade V of SD Negeri 2 Lokapaksa amounting to 31 people and the students of grade V of SD Negeri 4 Lokapaksa are 32 people, determined by random sampling technique. Student learning result data was collected by multiple choice method. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques (teded-polled parians). The result of descriptive statistic analysis shows that the experiment group average is 22,91 and the control group average is 14,31 this means the average of experiment> mean control, then the result of inferential statistic analysis show tcount 5,37> ttable 1 , 65, so it can be concluded that the approach of realistic mathematics learning based on problem solving has a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes in grade V students even semester year 2016/1017 study at SD Gugus VII Seririt District Buleleng District.
