PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dengan kelompok siswa yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan Sidemen Kabupaten Karangasem Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment), dengan desain non-equivalen control group design dengan sampel berjumlah 49 orang. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode tes dengan instrumen berbentuk tes pilihan ganda satu jawaban benar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan teknik uji-t. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar IPA siswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing berada pada kategori tinggi, yaitu dengan M = 21,40 (2) hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan konvensional berada pada kategori sedang, yaitu dengan M = 17,25 (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan Sidemen Kabupaten Karangasem, hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh (thitung = 3,29 > ttabel = 2,021). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan Sidemen Kabupaten Karangsem Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017

This experiment aimed to determine differences in student learning outcomes between groups of student that used cooperative learning model type Snowball Throwing with groups of students who do not use the model of cooperative learning type Snowball Throwing on science subjects V grade students SD Gugus III Sidemen District Karangasem Regency Lessons 2016/2017. This research is quasi experiment, with non-equivalent control group design design with 49 samples. Data collection of student learning outcomes using test methods with multiple choice test-shaped instruments one correct answer. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques with t-test techniques. The results of the study found that: (1) the learning outcomes of the students 'IPA after learning with the cooperative learning model of Snowball Throwing type are in the high category, that is M = 21,40 (2) the students' learning outcomes that are not learned by cooperative learning model of Snowball Throwing Is in the moderate category, ie with M = 17,25 (3) there is a significant difference of science learning outcomes between groups of students who are taught using cooperative learning model type Snowball Throwing and groups of students who are not taught using cooperative learning model of Snowball Throwing type V SD Gugus III Sidemen Sub-district of Karangasem Regency, the result of t-test analysis is obtained (thitung = 3,29> ttable = 2,021). So it can be concluded that the model of cooperative learning type Snowball Throwing have a positive effect on science learning outcomes of students of grade V SD Gugus III Sidemen District Karangsem District Lesson Year 2016/2017
