This study aimed to determine the difference of social science learning outcomes between students who were taught by cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) assisted concept maps and students taught by conventional learning model of V grade elementary school students in Cluster V District Melaya academic year 2016/2017. This research is classified as quasi experiment with non-equivalent design of posttest only control group design and 51 samples taken by simple random sampling. Social science students' learning outcomes students were collected through test result learning instrument with objective test form. The students obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique and inferential statistic (t-test). The results showed that there were significant differences in social science learning outcomes between students who were taught by cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) assisted with concept maps and students who were taught by conventional learning model on social science subjects of elementary school class V in Cluster V District Melaya (thitung = 2,791 and ttable = 2.010 so thitung> ttable). The existence of the difference shows that the cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) assisted Concept Map influences the learning outcomes of social science of Elementary School Grade V in Cluster V District Melaya in academic year 2016/2017.
