PENGARUH METODE GLOBAL BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU HURUF TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN SISWA KELAS I SD

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode global berbantuan media kartu huruf dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran metode ceramah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non-equivalent pottest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Buleleng, tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 162 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SD N 1 Alasangker yang berjumlah 32 siswa dan SD N 2 Penglatan yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sample random sampling. Data keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen nontes berbentuk lembar pengamatan (observasi). Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Dengan penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa dengan metode global berbantuan media kartu huruf berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata (M) = 19,37. Keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa dengan metode ceramah berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata (M) = 15,51. Terdapat perbedaan keterampilan membaca permulaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode global berbantuan media kartu huruf dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah. (thitung > ttabel, thitung = 3,70 dan ttabel = 2,00). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode global berbantuan media kartu huruf berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan.

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between the groups Obtained skill read the beginning of the students who the learning with method global aided media cards the letters with a group of students who learning with the lecture method. This study was a quasi experimental study designed as non-equivalent pottest only control group design. The population of this study was all students in first grade elementary school in cluster IV Buleleng district academic year 2016/2017, amounting to 162 people. The samples of this study were first grade students of SD N I Alasangker with 32 student and the number of SD N 2 Penglatan with 29 student, sampling technique used is sample random sampling. The data skills read the beginning of students collected with instruments nontest form sheets observations. Data collected analyzed using analysis the descriptive statistics and statistics inferensial (uji-t). The result of this study found that: skills read the beginning of the students with the global aided media cards letters were in the category of very high with an average of (M) = 19,37. The skills read the beginning of the students with the lectures were in the category of tall with an average of (M) = 15,51. There are significant different skills read the beginning of among students who followed learning with the global aided media cards letters and students follow learning with the lecture method. (tvalue > ttable, tvalue = 3,70 dan ttable = 2,00). Thus, it can be concluded that global method aided media cards positive effect skill read the beginning.
