This research Aims to determine the difference between learning outcomes between groups of students who are taught by cooperative learning model type of talking stick and group of students who were taught by conventional learning model in grade V elementary school students. This research is an experimental research with post test only control group design. In this design subjects are drawn from the population then grouped into two groups namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental class and control class were determined by random sampling technique. Data collection was done by using observation and test method. The data have been obtained and then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t-test. Based on the result of t-test calculation ie thit is greater than ttab (thit > ttab), so H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. The findings are that students become more active in the learning process. In addition to this, the activities of cooperative learning type of talking stick model is a game element that makes students feel happy, more active learning, and have high learning motivation. Thus, cooperative type learning model type talking stick effect on science learning outcomes of grade V elementary students in Cluster V Kecamatan Kubutambahan Buleleng District Lessons Year 2016/2017
