PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI IPS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Audio Visual dengan kelompok yang dibelajarkan konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Letda Made Putra. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus Letda Made Putra yang berjumlah 413 siswa. Sampel penelitian di SDN 23 Dangin Puri terdapat 32 siswa dan di SDN 18 Dangin Puri terdapat 33 siswa. Jadi ditetapkan 65 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dengan jenis objektif bentuk pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh thitung = 4,476 dan ttabel = 2,000 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = n1 + n2 – 2 = (32+33-2) =63. Oleh karena thitung 4,476 > ttabel 2,000 maka H0 di tolak. Hal ini membuktikan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi IPS kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Audio Visual dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvesional pada kelas IV SD Gugus Letda Made Putra Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Nilai rerata juga menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan kompetensi IPS kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Audio Visual X = 78,97 > X = 69,48 rerata penguasaan kompetensi IPS kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Audio Visual berpengaruh terhadap Kompetensi Pengetahuan IPS Siswa Kelas IV SD Gugus Letda Made Putra Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, audio visual, penguasaan kompetensi IPS
This study aims to improve in the mastery of the competence of IPS knowledge between students who were taught by Problem Based Learning model assisted by Audio Visual media and students who were taught by conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD GugusLetda Made Putra. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all of the fourth grade students of SD GugusLetda Made Putra which amounts 413 students. The sampling this research was determined by 65 students with random sampling technique. The data were collected by the test method with objective type of multiple choice form. The data were obtained by analyzed using uji-t. Based on data analysis, obtained thit = 4,476 and ttab = 2,000 at 5% significance level with dk = n1 + n2 -2 = (32 + 33 -2) = 63. Therefore, thit = 4,476 >ttab 2,000 then H0 was rejected. This prove showed there were significant differences between mastery of the competence of IPS knowledge between students who were taught by Problem Based Learning model assisted by Audio Visual media and students who were taught by conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD GugusLetda Made Putra in academic year 2016/2017. The average score also showed that mastery of the competence of IPS knowledge between students who were taught by Problem Based Learning model assisted by Audio Visual media and average of students who were taught by conventional learning X = 78,97> X= 69,48. So, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model has an effect on the IPS knowledge competence in fourth grade students of SD GugusLetda Made Putra in academic year 2016/2017
