PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA BERBASIS INKUIRI UNTUK PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA SISWA KELAS V

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, 1) mengetahui validitas pengembangan LKS dan 2) menguji efektivitas penggunaan LKS terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas V semester genap SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Sukasada Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode pencatatan dokumen, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pencatatan dokumen, lembar observasi, lembar kuesioner, dan tes uraian (essay). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) validitas LKS menurut review para ahli diperoleh hasil sangat baik. Persentase tingkat pencapaian dari review ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli media pembelajaran, dan ahli isi mata pelajaran,berturut-turut yaitu 86%, 92%, dan 94%. Berdasarkan uji coba produk juga diperoleh hasil sangat baik. Persentase tingkat pencapaian dari uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan lapangan berturut-turut yaitu 92,6%, 91,8% dan, 91,13%, 2) hasil uji t menunjukan thitung (19,61) > ttabel (2,021). Hal ini berarti, LKS berbasis inkuiri efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Temuan yang diperoleh yaitu, LKS berbasis inkuiri dapat mengembangkan keterampilan proses siswa, membuat siswa aktif, antusias, dan terlibat penuh dalam pembelajaran.

The aims of this study are 1) to find out the validity of the result of LKS’ development, 2) to examine the effectiveness of the concept of science in the LKS which is used on the fifth grade students in elementary school in group IV Sukasada subdistrict Lesson 2016/2017. This research is a development research which is using ADDIE model. The data were collected by using document recording method, observation, questionnaire, and test. There are instruments which is used in this study were document recording sheets, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and essay tests. Data analysis that used in this study were descriptive qualitative, descriptive quantitative and inferential statistic. The results of this study are 1) the validity of LKS according to the expert’s reviews obtained a very good result. The percentage level of review achievement of instructional design expert, learning media expert, and subject matter expert, were respectively about 86%, 93% and 96%. Based on product trials also obtained a very good results. Percentage of achievement levels from individual, small group and field trials were 92,6%, 91,8%, and 91,13%, respectively. 2) it is obtained the tcount (19,61)> ttable (2.021).This means, LKS based inquiry is effective to improve students' conceptual understanding. A growing finding is that the inquiry-based LKS can develop student processes, keep students active, enthusiastic, and fully engaged in learning.
