PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COURSE REVIEW HORAY TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan bukan dengan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain post test only control group desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelompok siswa kelas V di Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah siswa 93 orang siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas V SDN 2 Banjar Bali dan SDN 1 Kampung Kajanan. Data aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan metode tes menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar IPA. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji-t dengan rumus polled varians. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan bukan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh hasil uji-t pada aktivitas belajar IPA adalah thitung =32,88 > ttabel = 1,68 dan hasil uji-t pada hasil belajar IPA adalah thitung =71,50 > ttabel = 1,68. Temuan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay adalah membuat siswa lebih aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Selain itu, suasana pembelajaran menjadi menyenangkan.

This research aims to determine the significant difference toward activity and cognitive science learning outcomes of students between students who were taught by Course Review Horay and students who were not taught by Course Review Horay. This study was a quasi-experimental study. The design of this research was Post-test only control group design. Population of this research were all of fifth grade students of state VII elementary school at Buleleng Sub-District in academic year 2016/2017 with total population of 93 students. The sample of this research was fifth grade students at SDN 2 Banjar Bali and SDN 1 Kampung Kajanan. The data of activities and science learning outcomes of students was obtained by observation method using observation sheet instrument of learning activity as well as test method by using the test results of the evaluation of student science learning. The data analysis technique was used descriptive statistics analysis and t-test with polled variant formula. The result of this study showed that there were differences of activities and cognitive science learning outcomes of students between students who were taught by Course Review Horay and students who were not taught by Course Review Horay. Based on the test results using t-test in science learning activities showed tcount = 32.88 > ttable = 1.68 and the result of t-test in science learning outcomes showed tvalue = 71.50 > ttable = 1.68. The conclusion of this research based on the data that is obtained by using the learning model Course Review Horay can improve students' activeness in the learning processes. In addition it makes the learning in the classroom become more fun.
