PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SNOWBALL THROWING BERMUATAN GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti Model Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing Bermuatan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional pada siswa kelas IV di Gugus V Kecamatan Kubutambahan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di Gugus V Kecamatan Kubutambahan Tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 100 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Tamblang yang berjumlah 26 orang dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Tamblang yang berjumlah 22 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t).Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thit = 1,44 dan ttab (pada taraf signifikansi 5%) = 1,99. Hal ini berarti bahwa thit > ttab, sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan Model Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing Bermuatan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional. Dari rata-rata ( ) hitung, diketahui kelompok eksperimen adalah 22,45 dan kelompok kontrol adalah 15,62. Hal ini berarti bah wa eksperimen > kontrol, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing Bermuatan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di Gugus V Kecamatan Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng.

This study aims to determine the differences between the outcomes of learning Science among students who follow the Cooperative Learning Model of Snowball Throwing which contain of School Literacy Action and students who follow the Conventional Learning Model in fourth grade students in Cluster V Kubutambahan District Academic Year 2016 / 2017. This research is type of quasi experimental research. The population of this study is entire students of class IV in Cluster V Kubutambahan district Academic Year 2016/2017 which the number of the students is 100 students. The sample of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Tamblang which the number is 26 students and fourth grader of SD Negeri 5 Tamblang which the number is 22 students. The data of students learning outcomes were collected with multiple choice test instruments. The data which collected were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistic (t-test). Based on the result of data analysis, obtained thit = 1.44 and ttab (at significance level 5%) = 1.99. It means that thit> ttab, thus it can be interpreted that there is significant differences in the outcomes of learning science between students who follow the lesson with cooperative learning model of Snowball Throwing which contain School Literacy Action and students who follow the Conventional Learning Model. From the average ( ) count, the experimental group is 22.45 and the control group is 15.62. It means that the experiment > control, thus it can be concluded that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model Snowball Throwing type which contain School Literacy Action affects the learning outcomes of science class IV in cluster V Kubutambahan District, Beleleng regency.
