ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model think pair share dan konvensional. 2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran think pair share dan minat terhadap hasil belajar IPA. 3) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki minat tinggi, antara yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model think pair share dan konvensional. 4) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki minat rendah.Pembelajaran dengan model think pair share dan konvensional adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Desa Bontihing yang berjumlah 89 orang. Sedangkan sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang untuk kelas eksperimen dan 49 orang untuk kelas kontrol. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes menggunakan instrumen tes pilihan ganda, sedangkan tingkat minat belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode non-tes menggunakan instrumen kuisioner minat belajar.Pembelajaran dengan model think pair share dan konvensional adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Desa Bontihing yang berjumlah 89 orang. Sedangkan sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang untuk kelas eksperimen dan 49 orang untuk kelas kontrol. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes menggunakan instrumen tes pilihan ganda, sedangkan tingkat minat belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode non-tes menggunakan instrumen kuisioner minat belajar.Kata Kunci : Kata–kata kunci: think pair share, minat belajar, hasil belajar
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is1) To know the difference of science learning outcomes are significant between groups of students who follow the learning with the model of think pair share and conventional. 2) To know the effect of significant interaction between thinking pair share model and interest to science learning outcomes. 3) To know the difference of science learning outcomes that are significant in the group of students who have high interest, among which follow the learning with the model of think pair share and conventional. 4) To know the difference of science learning outcomes that are significant in the group of students who have low interest. Learning with the think pair share and conventional model is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study are all students of grade V of SD in Bontihing Village, amounting to 89 people. While the sample of this study amounted to 40 people for the experimental class and 49 people for the control class. Student learning result data was collected by using test method using multiple choice test instrument, while student interest level was collected by non-test method using questionnaire interest learning instrument. Learning with the think pair share and conventional model is a quasi-experimental research.
