PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPS SISWA KELAS IV SD GUGUS I GUSTI NGURAH RAI DENPASAR TIMUR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan multimedia dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 331 orang. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling dengan terlebih dahulu mengundi kelas kemudian hasil undian diberikan pretest untuk menentukan kesetaraan. Setelah setara berdasarkan uji t dilakukan pengundian kembali untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes untuk mengumpulkan data kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa. Data nilai posttest kompetensi pengetahuan IPS dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji t, diperoleh nilai thitung 3,94 > ttabel 2,00 pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk 62 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kompentesi pengetahuan IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model Problem Based Learning berbantuan multimedia dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai. Selain itu, berdasarkan analisis dengan statistik deskriptif diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata kompetensi pengetahuan IPS kelas eksperimen 77,95 > kelas kontrol 70,82. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan multimedia berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas IV SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, multimedia, kompetensi pengetahuan IPS.
This study aims to determine the significant differences in the competence of IPS knowledge of students who were taught using a model of Problem Based Learning assisted multimedia with students who were taught using conventional learning. This research type is quasi experiment with design of Nonequivalent control group design. Population in this research is all fourth graders at SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur year lesson 2016/2017 which amounted to 331 people. Determination of the sample in this study was done by random sampling technique by first drawing the class then the result of the draw was given pretest to determine equality. After the equivalent on the basis of the t-test, a draw was made to determine the experimental and control class. Data collection in this research is done by test method to collect competency knowledge data of student's IPS. Posttest value data of IPS knowledge competence were analyzed using t test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with t test, obtained tcount 3.94> ttable 2.00 at 5% significant level with dk 62 then H0 rejected and Ha accepted. This shows that there is a significant difference of IPS knowledge competence between students who are taught through Multimedia-based Problem Based Learning model with students who are taught by conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai. In addition, based on the analysis with descriptive statistics obtained the average score of knowledge competence level of experimental class IPS 77.95> control class 70.82. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning model of multimedia assisted on the knowledge competence of IPS students of fourth grade SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur academic year 2016/2017.
