PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan masalah realita dan kelompok siswa yang tidak menggunakan model Snowball Throwing berbantuan masalah realita pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus V Kecamatan Blahbatuh tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post-test only control group desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Gugus V Kecamatan Blahbatuh. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah kelas V SD Negeri 3 Pering dan SD Negeri 5 Pering. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data hasil belajar, diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,636 Sedangkan, ttabel sebesar 1,68 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini berarti, thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (thitung> ttabel). Dilihat dari hasil perolehan rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen adalah 24,77 lebih besar dari rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok kontrol yaitu 14,69. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan masalah realita berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan refrensi bagi peneliti lain dalam mengadakan penelitian lebih lanjut model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan masalah realita, sehingga diperoleh sumbangan ilmu untuk pengembangan pendidikan.

This study aims to determine the significant differences the result of learning between groups of students who followed the learning by using Snowball Throwing learning-assisted reality problem and groups of students which is did not used the model of Snowball Throwing-assisted reality problem of students in grade V Elementary School, Gugus V Blahbatuh district, in the year of 2016/2017. The type of this research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The population of this research is the students in the grade V Elementary School, Blahbatuh district. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The school that became the sample of this research are SDN 3 Pering and SDN 5 Pering in the grade V. The results of the study are collect by using multiple choices or objective. The data obtained were analyzed by suing descriptive statistics and inferential statistic analysis, t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, the learning result is obtaining t-count of 3.636, while t-tabel obtained of 1.68 and 5% in the significant level. It means, t-count is bigger than t-tabel (t-count>t-tabel). It seen from the result of average acquisition of the learning of the experimental is 24.77, it is bigger from the result of the learning of the groups is 14.69. it can be concluded that the learning model of Snowball Throwing-assisted of reality problem has a positive effect of the result on student learning. This research can be used for references for other researchers in conducting further research about Snowball Throwing in conducting further research about Snowball Throwing learning model assisted by reality problem. So, other researcher has a contribution knowledge to the development of education.
