PENERAPAN MODEL POLYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NO.2 PEMARON

Abstrak
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar dalam mata pelajaran Matematika setelah diterapkannya model polya pada siswa kelas V di SD No. 2 Pemaron. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 24 siswa kelas V SD No. 2 Pemaron. Data penelitian tentang aktivitas dan hasil belajar Matematika diperoleh dengan metode observasi dan metode tes. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Pertemuan I dan II untuk pembelajaran, serta pertemuan III pemberian tes siklus. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus II. Pada siklus I, rata-rata skor aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 30,2 dengan kategori cukup aktif. Pada siklus II, rata-rata skor aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat 4,78 sehingga rata-rata skor aktivitas belajar siswa menjadi sebesar 34,98 dengan kategori aktif. Persentase hasil belajar 64,69% dengan kategori rendah. Pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 13,54% sehingga rata-rata hasil belajar siswa menjadi sebesar 78,23% dengan kategori sedang. Jadi, aktivitas meningkat 4,78 dan hasil belajar meningkat sebesar 13,54% setelah diadakan tindakan.

Abstract
Research aims to determine the increase of learning activity and learning outcomes in mathematics after Polya model applied in grade V students of elementary school No. 2 Pemaron. The type of this research was classroom action research. The subject of this research were 24 students in grade V of elementary school No. 2 Pemaron. Learning activity and learning outcomes increasing data were taken by observation and test method. Research conducted during two cycles. The first and second meetings were for learning, and the third was for cycle test. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of this research showed that the learning activity and learning outcomes has increased from first to second cycle. In the first cycle, the average score of learning activity was 30,2 with a moderately active category. Second cycle, the average score of learning activity increased 4,78 being 34,98 with the active category. The percentage of learning outcomes was 64,69% with low category. In the second cycle there was an increasing of learning outcomes percentage 13,54% being 78,23% with medium category. So, learning activity increase 4,78 and learning outcomes increase 13,54% after applied this research.
