PEMANFAATAN MEDIA TORSO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD N0 2 PAKET AGUNG SINGARAJA

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas Vb di SD No. 2 Paket Agung Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 dengan memanfaatkan media torso. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan tiga kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 34 siswa. Data aktivitas dikumpulkan dengan observasi langsung dan hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes. Data aktivitas belajar siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan data hasil belajar siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media torso dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari pada siklus I rata-rata skor aktivitas siswa secara klasikal sebesar 6,5 yang berada pada kategori cukup aktif. Pada siklus II rata-rata skor aktivitas siswa secara klasikal meningkat menjadi 8,76 yang berada pada kategori aktif. Pemanfaatan media torso dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata skor siswa pada siklus I sebesar 69,05 dengan tingkat hasil belajar yang berada pada kategori sedang meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 80 yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA setelah diterapkan media torso.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes in teaching science in elementary grade Vb No. 2 Paket Agung Academic Year 2011/2012 by exploiting the media torso. This research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle of meetings held three times. The design of each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation/evaluation and reflection. Research subjects as much as 34 student. Activity data collected by direct observation and learning outcomes were collected with the test. Student activity data were analyzed descriptively qualitative and student learning outcomes data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the use of media to enhance learning activities torso. It can be seen from the first cycle, the average score of students in the classical activity of 6.5 which is in the category is quite active. In the second cycle the average score of students in the classical activity increased to 8.76 which is the active category. Utilization torso media can improve student learning outcomes. It can be seen from the increase in the average score of students in the first cycle of 69.05 with the level of learning outcomes in middle category increased in the second cycle to 80 who are in the high category. Thus, an increase in activity and learning outcomes applied science after media torso.
