PENGARUH STRATEGI TRADING PLACES PADA PEMBELAJARAN PKN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SOSIAL SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah sosial antara siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran Trading Places dan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di Gugus II Kecamatan Tejakula Kabupaten Buleleng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Sawan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014, yang terdiri dari 8 kelas dengan jumlah populasi 191 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan cara random sampling melalui teknik undian, tetapi yang diundi adalah kelas. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah sosial. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah sosial antara siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran Trading Places dan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Besarnya thit adalah 8,37, sedangkan ttab pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan db = 59 adalah 2,001. Hal ini berarti, thit lebih besar dari ttab (thit > ttab). Di samping itu, rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah sosial antara siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran Trading Places (15,12) lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (9,43). Dengan demikian, strategi pembelajaran Trading Places berpengaruh terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Sosial pada siswa kelas V semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di Gugus II Kecamatan Tejakula Kabupaten Buleleng.

Abstract
This study aims to determine significant differences in social problem-solving skills among students who learn through learning with instructional strategies Trading Places and the students who studied with conventional learning in fifth grade elementary school students in academic year 2013/2014 in Cluster II District Tejakula Buleleng regency. The study was quasi-experimental research design with post-test only control group design. The study population was all class V SD in Cluster IV Sawan district academic year 2013/2014, which consists of 8 classes with a population of 191 students. Samples collected by random sampling technique through a lottery, but the lottery is a class. Data collection instruments used in this research is a test of social problem-solving abilities. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent sample t-test. The results showed that there are significant differences in social problem-solving skills among students who learn through learning with instructional strategies Trading Places and the students who studied with conventional learning. Thit magnitude is 8.37, while ttab at significance level of 5% and db = 59 is 2,001. This means, thit greater than ttab (thit> ttab). In addition, the average scores of social problem-solving skills among students who learn through learning with instructional strategies Trading Places (15.12) is higher than the students who studied with conventional learning model (9.43). Thus, learning strategies Trading Places affect the ability of the Social Problem Solving class V students in academic year 2013/2014 in Cluster II District Tejakula Buleleng regency.
