PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SEMESTER 2 SD NEGERI 9 BEBANDEM

Abstrak
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa, (2) rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui pendekatan inkuiri, (2) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui pendekatan inkuiri. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SD Negeri 9 Bebandem tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 berjumlah 22 orang. Tindakan dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Siklus I terdiri atas 3 pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri atas 3 pertemuan. Setiap pertemuannya dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tahapan mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Data aktivitas siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, sedangkan data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan metode tes. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan inkuiri dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 9 Bebandem tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Peningkatan tersebut ditunjukkan dengan perolehan persentase aktivitas belajar pada siklus I 60,9% dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 29,6% hingga mencapai 90,5% dengan kategori sangat aktif. Hasil belajar IPA pada siklus I mencapai 65,0%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 20,0% hingga mencapai 85,0% dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, disarankan kepada semua guru kelas di sekolah dasar tempat penelitian hendaknya menerapkan pendekatan inkuiri dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract
The problem in this study were (1) low activity of student learning, (2) lack of student learning outcomes. Based on these problems, this study aims to (1) determine an increase in student learning activities through inquiry approach, (2) to increase student learning outcomes through the inquiry approach. This study was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with research subjects fifth grade elementary school students 9 Bebandem school year 2012/2013 amounted to 22 people. Actions performed in 2 cycles. Cycle I consists of 3 rooms and the second cycle consists of 3 meetings. Each encounter a cycle from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. the student activity data collected using the observation sheet and while learning outcomes data collected by tests. The data has been collected quantitatively analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of this approach can increase the activity of inquiry and learning outcomes in class V in SD Negeri 9 Bebandem school year 2012/2013. The increase in the percentage indicated by the acquisition of learning activities in the first cycle and increased 60.9% in the second cycle of 29.6% to 90.5% with the very active category. Science learning outcomes in the first cycle reaches 65.0%, while in the second cycle, student learning outcomes increased by 20.0% to reach 85.0% in both categories. Based on this research, it is recommended to all classroom teachers in primary schools should implement inquiry learning in teaching Civics.
