Abstract
This study aims to determine significant differences between students' science learning outcomes that follow the model of learning-oriented school environment with students who take the conventional teaching fifth grade students of elementary school No.. 2 Tibubeneng North Kuta. This study is a quasi-experimental study (Quasy experiment) with the design of the study is a non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The study population was all the fifth grade students of elementary school No.. 2 Tibubeneng North Kuta academic year 2013/2014. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique. The data collected is the value of science learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class were collected using a multiple-choice test with the correct answers composite cognitive score (post-test). Data were analyzed by t test. The results showed that there were significant differences in learning outcomes of students who learned with IPS using environmentally oriented learning model school with students who learned with using conventional learning (6.547 thitung> ttable = 2.000). Thus, it can be concluded that the model of learning-oriented school environment significantly influence learning outcomes in class V IPA SD No.. 2 Tibubeneng North Kuta.
