Abstract
This study aims to determine significant differences between the results of social studies students who learned with implementing cooperative learning model make a match-aided graphic media and students who learned with the conventional model of learning in class 18 Pemecutan SDN Academic Year 2013/2014. This research was a quasi-experimental research design used by Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population included all fifth grade students of SDN 18 Pemecutan Academic Year 2012/2013. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique. Data collected in the form which is the result of social studies students' cognitive value. Values are collected using a cognitive achievement test in multiple choice. Data were analyzed by t test. The results showed an average result of social studies fifth grade students that learned using cooperative media make a match-aided graphics is greater than the students that learned using conventional learning (78.08> 73.63). Analysis results prove that there are significant differences between the results of social studies students that learned to use cooperative learning model make a match-aided graphic media with students that learned using conventional learning (t = 3.423> table = 2.000). It can be concluded that cooperative learning model make a match-aided graphic media significantly influence the results of social studies fifth grade students of SDN 18 acceleration.
