Abstract
The problem in this study were (1) lack of student learning activities, (2) lack of student learning outcomes. This study aims to (1) determine an increase in student learning activities through cooperative learning model clattering studs, (2) to increase student learning outcomes through cooperative learning model clattering studs. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with fourth grade students study subjects SD Negeri 1 North Duda academic year 2013/2014 amounted to 30 people. Actions performed in 2 cycles. Student activity data collected by the method of observation, while the science learning outcomes data collected with the test method. The results, in the first cycle the average percentage of learning activities reached 61.2% with moderately active category and the average results of their study 69.33,% with enough categories. In the second cycle the average percentage of learning activities reached 79% with the active category and the average results of their study with a 85.17% higher category. Based on these data, the average student activity from the first cycle to the second an increase of 17.8%. Percentage of student learning outcomes in the classical cycle of I to II has increased by 15.84%, the data showed that the application of cooperative learning model clattering studs can increase the activity and learning outcomes in the fourth grade students at North Elementary School 1 Duda academic year 2013 / 2014. It is recommended to all classroom teachers in primary schools where the research should implement cooperative learning model clattering studs in science teaching.
