Abstract
The research intends to find out a significant differences learning result of social science between student who learn by sinektik learning models which is based on portfolio assessment with students who are learning with conventional learning. This research is a quasi experimental research with a non equivalent control group design. Population in this study, is a whole group of Grade 5 lieutenant Colonel Vishnu Groups Denpasar northem districts. The sampling was conducted in a population with a random sampling technique. Sampel in this research is 5 grade elementary school student number 1 Peguyangan as the experimental group totalled 40 students and 5 grade elementary school student number 12 Peguyangan as the control group numbered 35 student. Data collected from this research is the result of studying social sciences 5 grade elementary school students Colonel Vishnu Groups Denpasar northem districts.. Data collection techniques used are objective tests data collection techniques used are multiple choice objective test with four options which amounts to forty items. The learning result data that was obtained was analyzed using t-test. The result Social science of each group shows that average learning result and the social sciences experimental group is better than control group, that the experimental group was 72.45 and in the control group was 60.43. Based on the analysis by t-test obtained t of 6.79 by using a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05) and dk = 73 obtained ttable 2.00. This means that thitung > ttable (6.79 > 2,00). It can be concluded that there are significant differences between the results of social studies students learn to use the model-based learning sinektik portfolio assessment with students who learn using conventional learning.
