Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Tematik Berbantuan Media Bioplastik Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas III SD Gugus V Mengwi Badung

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran tematik berbantuan media bioplastik dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas III SD Gugus V Mengwi Badung tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain nonequivalent control group desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD gugus V Mengwi Badung yang berjumlah 105 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Abianbase sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang dan siswa kelas III SD Negeri 3 Abianbase sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 32 orang. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar IPA menggunakan tes objektif bentuk pilihan ganda. Hipotesis dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t polled varians. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran tematik berbantuan media bioplastik dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t terhadap nilai hasil belajar IPA siswa thit = 3,53 > ttabel = 2,000 dengan dk = 64 dan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini berarti Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang menandakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran tematik berbantuan media bioplastik dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa pada kelompok eksperimen = 81,65 > kelompok kontrol = 67,37. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran tematik berbantuan media bioplastik terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas III SD Gugus V Mengwi Badung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran tematik, media bioplastik, hasil belajar IPA
This research was aimed to know the significant difference of the students learning result in science subject. The researcher would like to know the different of students learning result between the students who attended thematic learning type using bioplastic with those who attended convensional type fo the third grade of elemtary school group V Mengwi Badung in academic year 2013/2014. The research was quasi experiment using nonequivalent control group design. The population of the research werw 105 students of the third grade of elementary school group V Mengwi Badung. The sample of the research were 34 students of SDN 2 Abianbase as the experiment group and 32 students of SDN 3 Abianbase as the control group. The data collecting used the results of the students learning in science subject using multiple choice item test. The hypothesis was analyzed using test-t polled varians. The result showed that there was a significant difference between the students who attended thematic learning using bioplastic with the students who used conventional type learning. Based on the analysis of the students learning result in science subject, thit = 3,53 > ttable = 2,000 with dk = 64 and significant point 5%. It meant that Ha was accepted and H0 was denied which indicated that there was a significant difference between the students who attended thematic learning type using bioplastic with those who used conventional type. The average of students learning results in the experiment group was = 81,65 > control group = 67,37. Based on the data above, it could be concluded thar thematic learning type using bioplastic influences the students learning results, especially in science subject, for the third grade of elementary school group V Mengwi Badung academic year 2013/2014.
