This study aims to determine significant differences in learning outcomes Indonesian students who take learning strategies PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflecy, Recite, Review) by students who take conventional learning in the fifth grade elementary school students 13 Pemecutan. This research is a quasi-experimental research design research Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples in this study were all students of class V SD 13 Pemecutan consisting of 2 classes. Analysis of the data used to analyze the results of the study are different test (t - test). Based on the results of the data analysis of this study concluded that there are significant differences in learning outcomes Indonesian students who take learning strategies PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflecy, Recite, Review) by students who take conventional learning in the fifth grade elementary school students 13 Pemecutan. This is proved by the results of t greater than t table ie 11,89 ( α = 0.05 , df = 72 ) = 2,000, with an average value of the acquisition of learning outcomes Indonesian experimental class higher than the control class that is equal to (87, 71 > 68.00). Thus PQ4R learning strategies (Preview, Question, Read, Reflecy, Recite, Review) have a positive influence on learning outcomes Indonesian the fifth grade elementary school students 13 Pemecutan.
