PENDEKATAN PAIKEM BERPENGARUH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PKN SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS VI PANGERAN DIPONEGORO, DENPASAR BARAT TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar PKn antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan PAIKEM dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus VI Pangeran Diponegoro, Denpasar Barat Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Non Equvalent Control Group Design. Populasi yang dilibatkan adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus VI Pangeran Diponegoro, Denpasar Barat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD N 3 Pemecutan yang berjumlah 41 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas VA SD N 7 Pemecutan yang berjumlah 38 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Cara menentukan sampel dilakukan dengan tehnik random sampling. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar PKn dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes dan metode observasi kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik statistik parametrik yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar PKn antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan PAIKEM dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini terbukti dari perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar PKn antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yaitu x ̅ = 73,4 > x ̅ = 59,61. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh thit =5,944> ttab = 2,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan pendekatan PAIKEM berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar PKn siswa di kelas V SD Gugus VI Pangeran Diponegoro, Denpasar Barat Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.

This study was intended to investigate whether or not there was a significant effect of PAIKEM approach upon the PKn study of the grade V students of Gugus VI Pangeran Diponegoro, Denpasar Barat in the academic year 2013/2014. This was an experimental study, which used Non Equvalen Control Group design. The population of this study was the grade V students of SD Gugus VI Pangeran Diponegoro, Denpasar Barat. Mean while the samples of this study were 41 students of SDN 3 Pemecutan as the experimental group and 38 students of class VA gradev of SDN 7 Pemecutan as the control group. The random sampling technique was used in this study to define the samples. The obtained data of PKn study was collected by using test, and observation which then analysed by using parametric statistic of t-test. The result of this study shown that there was a significant difference of students PKn study taught by using PAIKEM approach and conventional technique. It can be seen from the result of the mean score of the experimental group which was 73,4, whire the mean score of the control group was 59,6. From the analysis of t-test, it was foud that the value of t-observed (to) was 5,94, which exceeded the t-critical (tcv) of 2.00. Therefore, it can be concluded that PAIKEM approach had a significant effect upon students PKn study of grade V SD Gugus VI Pangeran Diponegoro, Denpasar Barat in the academic year 2013/2014.
