The purpose of this study is to analyze the significant differences of learning outcomes between TAI -assisted cooperative learning concept maps media and conventional learning in the fifth grade of Elementary School No.29 Dangin Puri Denpasar (SD N 29 Dangin Puri Denpasar) academic year 2013/2014. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the Non Equivalent Control Group design. The population of this study all students in fifth grade. The sample of this study consists of 82 students. Principal instrument in this study is student learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using parametric statistical analysis. Particularly, t-test was used to test the hypothesis. Based on the analysis it has been found that the mean of post test experimental group is x=76,68 and the control group is x=67,61. Hypothesis testing is performed on the results of the post test scores, thitung (4.92 ) > ttable (2,000) . Based on the results of hypothesis testing performed there are significant differences in learning outcomes of students who take the Civics cooperative learning TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) media assisted concept maps as compared to students who take the conventional teaching learning in the fifth grade of Elementary School No.29 Dangin Puri. Therefore, cooperative learning TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) can be used as alternative learning model for Pkn subject in the elementary school.
