PENGARUH METODE SOSIODRAMA BERBANTUAN CERITA RAKYAT TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS V

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara penerapan metode sosiodrama berbantuan cerita rakyat dengan penerapan metode konvensional terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dan menggunakan desain post test only control group design.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SD Gugus I Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 236 orang. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 58 orang yang terdiri dari 29 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 29 siswa di kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah teknik ProbabilitySampling dengan tehnik random berkelompok. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes keterampilan berbicara berupa tes tindakan. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan berbicara antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan metode sosiodrama berbantuan cerita rakyat dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan metode konvensional (thitung = 16,22 dan ttab = 2,003). Berdasarkan analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode sosiodrama berbantuan cerita rakyat berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa. Dilihat dari rata-rata keterampilan berbicara, diketahui rata-rata keterampilan berbicara kelompok eksperimen adalah 21,78 dan rata-rata keterampilan berbicara kelompok kontrol adalah17,10. Berdasarkan rata-rata tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode sosiodrama berbantuan cerita rakyat lebih baik dibandingkan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode konvensional.Kata Kunci : sosiodrma, konvensional, keterampilan berbicara
The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between the application of the method sociodramas folklore aided by the application of conventional methods to the speaking skills of fifth grade students of the school year 2013/2014. This research is a quasi-experimental research design and use of post-test only control group design. Populasi this study were all fifth grade students in elementary Cluster I Buleleng academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 236 people. The sample used in this study amounted to 58 people consisting of 29 students in the experimental class and 29 students in the control class. The sampling technique is a technique by technique ProbabilitySampling random groups. Data collected by the instrument test speaking skills in the form of test action. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics ( t-test ). The analysis showed a significant difference between groups speaking skills of students who are taught using the method sociodramas aided folklore and groups of students who are taught using conventional methods ( of t = 16.22 and ttab = 2.003 ). Based on this analysis it can be concluded that the method assisted sociodramas folklore positive effect on students' speaking skills. Judging from the average speaking skills, known to the average speaking skills experimental group was 21.78 and the average speaking skills is 17.10 the control group. Based on this average, it can be concluded that the group of students who learned with folklore aided sociodramas method is better than the group of students who learned with the conventional method.
