PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KUANTUM BERMUATAN MASALAH KONTEKSTUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 22 DAUH PURI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran kuantum bermuatan masalah kontekstual dengan yang dibelajarkan melalui model konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental) dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu nonequivalent control group design, yang menggunakan populasi seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri dengan jumlah 163 orang. Melalui teknik random sampling diperoleh siswa kelas VA berjumlah 35 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas VD yang berjumlah 35 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar IPA, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran kuantum bermuatan masalah kontekstual dengan yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran konvensional. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kuantum bermuatan masalah kontekstual lebih tinggi dari rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 75,57 > 70,14. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji-t, yaitu thitung = 2,233 sedangkan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = 68 sebesar 2,000, sehingga thit > ttab. Hal ini berarti model pembelajaran kuantum bermuatan masalah kontekstual berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : kuantum, masalah kontekstual, hasil belajar
The purpose of this research is to know the significant differences of the result of learning science between the students which are learned through quantum learning model charged by contextual problem with the students which are learned through conventional learning model at the fifth grade of SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri. This research is quasi experiment with research plan called nonequivalent control group design which is take all the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri for about 163 students as population. Through random sampling technique, 35 students from VA class is chosen as experiment group and 35 students from VD class is chosen as the control group. The data in this research has been collected by using instrument that is the result of learning science which is analyzed by using statistic test called t-test. The result shows that there are significant differences of the result of learning science between the students which are learned through quantum learning model charged by contextual problem with the students which are learned through conventional learning model. From the analysis the average of the result of learning science from the students which are learned through quantum learning model charged by contextual problem is higher than the average from the students which are learned through conventional learning model that is 75,57 > 70,14. From t-test result, tvalue = 2,233 meanwhile that ttable at significant level at 5% with dk = 68 and in amount is 2,000, therefore tvalue > ttable. This is means that quantum learning model charged by contextual problem has influence toward the result of learning sciece at the fifth grade of SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri academic year 2013/2014.
