PENGARUH STRATEGI DLTA BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK SISWA KELAS VI SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan menyimak pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan strategi the direct listening thinking activity berbantuan media audio dan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran langsung di kelas VI SD di gugus 6 di Kecamatan Karangasem tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan The Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI SD di gugus 6 Kecamatan Karangasem tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 142 siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI SDN 1 Tumbu dengan jumlah 20 siswa dan 18 siswa kelas VI SDN 2 Tumbu. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes. Metode tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data keterampilan menyimak siswa. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji prasyarat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterampilan menyimak siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi the direct listening thinking activity berbantuan media audio memiliki mean (M) = 25 termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, (2) keterampilan menyimak siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran langsung memiliki mean (M) = 15,33 termasuk dalam kategori sedang, (3) hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa thitung=8,13 > ttabel=2,021. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keterampilan menyimak secara signifikan antara siswa yang belajar mengikuti strategi the direct listening thinking activity berbantuan media audio dengan siswa yang belajar mengikuti strategi pembelajaran langsung.Kata Kunci : DLTA, audio, pembelajaran langsung, menyimak
This research was aimed to determine the difference in listening skill in Indonesian subjects among students that learned by use the strategy of direct listening thinking activity aided audio media and students that learned by use learning strategies directly in the sixth grade in cluster 6 in Karangasem district in academic year 2013/2014. This research is a quasi experiment with The Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population is taken from six graders in cluster 6 Karangasem district in academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 142 people. Sample were sixth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tumbu with 20 students and 18 students from sixth grade of SDN 2 Tumbu. The data collection in this study was conducted using a test. Test methods used to collect data on students' listening skill. Data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis and test requirements analysis. The results showed that (1) listening skills of students who take lessons with the strategy of direct listening thinking activity aided audio media has a mean (M) = 25 included in the very high category, (2) listening skills of students who take lessons with hands-on learning strategies have mean (M) = 15.33 included in the medium category, (3) the results of testing showed that thitung=8,13> ttable=2,021. This indicates a significant difference between the listening skills of students who are learning by use of the strategy of the direct listening thinking activity aided audio media with students who are learning by use of the strategy of direct learning.
