The Posttest-Only Control Group Design.
This research purpose for to know the different student learning result of science that learned using the model ATI (Aptitude Treatment Interaction) helped concept maps and students that learned using conventional learning model in IV grade elementary school in cluster VII in Sawan subdistrict academic year 2013/2014 . This research is a quasi experiment with The Posttest-Only Control Group Design. This research population is all the IV grade students in cluster VII Sawan subdistrict academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 125 people. Data collection in this research was conducted using a test method. Test methods used to collect data on student learning result. Data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis and test requirements analysis. The research showed that (1) the learning result of students who take lessons with learning model ATI (Aptitude Treatment Interaction) helped concept maps have a mean (M) = 25.44 included in the very high category, (2) the learning result of students with the following conventional learning models have a mean (M) = 16.2 is included in the medium category, (3) there are significant differences in learning result between students who are learning to follow the learning model ATI (Aptitude Treatment Interaction) helped concept maps with students who are learning to follow the conventional learning models ( > ). Students who learn to use learning model ATI (Aptitude Treatment Interaction) helped concept maps showed better learning result than students who learn to follow the learning using conventional learning models.
