PENGARUH STUDENT FACILITATOR AND EXPLAINING BERBANTUAN PETA KONSEP TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PKn KELAS V SD GUGUS IGUSTI NGURAH RAI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar PKn antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media peta konsep dengan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain the nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 berjumlah 445 siswa. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling, dan diperoleh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 6 Penatih berjumlah 36 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Penatih berjumlah 39 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil belajar PKn dikumpulkan dengan tes objektif bentuk pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thit = 6,76 dan ttab = 2,000 dengan demikian thit = 6,76 > ttab = 2,000, berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media peta konsep dengan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar PKn siswa pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelompok kontrol yaitu 0,67>0,42. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media peta konsep berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.

The purpose of this research is to know the significant differentces of the PKn learning achievement between the students who learned trough Student Facilitator and Explaining teaching model assisted by map media concept with the students who learned trough conventional learning method. This kind of research is a quasi-experimental with design the nonequivalent control group design. The populations of research is all students oh the fifth grade SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur academic year 2013/2014 with the total of 445 students. The sample was taken by the technique of random sampling, and is obtained by the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Penatih with the total of 36 students as the experiment group and the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Penatih with the total of 39 students as the control group. The data collected by objective test and tehn analyzed by using the t-test statistic technique. Based on analysis result data, it is found tcount = 6,76 and ttable = 2,000 and there fore tcount = 6,76 > ttable = 2,000, this means that there are significant differences that in learning achievement between students who learned trough the Student Facilitator and Explaining teaching model assisted by map media concept withthe students who learned through conventional. The average value of learning achievement of PKn students at the experiment group is higher than the control group, that is 0,67 > 0,42. That case indicates that Student Facilitator and Explaining assisted by the map media concept learning model influences to the learning achievement of PKn at the fifth grade students of SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Timur academic year 2013/2014.
