PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN RESEPTIF BERBANTUAN MEDIA KLIPING VARIASI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS VII KECAMATAN ABIANSEMAL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan membaca antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reseptif berbantuan media kliping variasi dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran secara konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus VII Kecamatan Abiansemal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Gugus VII Kecamatan Abiansemal. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling yaitu kelas V SD No. 1 Jagapati sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas V SD No. 2 Angantaka sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah masing-masing kelompok pada kelas eksperimen sebanyak 33 orang siswa dan pada kelas kontrol sebanyak 31 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes aspek keterampilan membaca,. Analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah uji beda mean (uji-t). Analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan membaca antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reseptif berbantuan media kliping variasi dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran secara konvensional. Hal tersebut dibuktikan bahwa thit =5,370 > ttab = 2,000 dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia kelas eksperimen x ̅ = 82,18 > x ̅ = 70,71 kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe resesptif berbantuan media kliping variasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa kelas V SD Gugus VII Kecamatan Abiansemal.Kata Kunci : model kooperatif tipe reseptif, kliping variasi, keterampilan membaca
This research aimed at knowing the significantly different in reading competency between groups of students’ learning by using cooperative receptive type of study helped by clipping variation with students who involved in conventional learning in grade V of Elementary school students at SD Gugus VII in Abiansemal district. Type of this study was experimental research used quasi experimental design. The subjects of this research were grade V of Elementary school students at SD Gugus VII in Abiansemal district. Sample were taken randomly namely, grade V of Elementary school students at SD No.1 Jagapati as an experimental class and grade V of Elementary school students at SD No.2 Angantaka as controlled class with the number of the students of each group were 33 students in experimental class and 31 students in controlled class. The technique used in collecting the data in this research was reading competency aspect test. Statistical analysis used to test the research hypothesis was test of different mean (t-test). The analysis showed that there was the significantly different in reading competency between the students’ learning by using cooperative receptive type of study helped by clipping variation with the students who involved in conventional learning. It was be evidenced that value = 5,370 > table = 2,000 with the average score reached in Bahasa Indonesia subject of experimental class was ẋ = 82,18 > but in controlled class was ẋ = 70,71. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the used of cooperative receptive type of study helped by clipping variation influenced the students’ reading competency in grade V of Elementary school students at SD Gugus VII in Abiansemal district.
