PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES BERBASIS LINGKUNGAN BERPENGARUH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pengaruh penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses berbasis lingkungan dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Sebagai populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN Gugus Petulu. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling, didapat siswa kelas V SDN 2 Petulu yang berjumlah 34 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SDN 1 Petulu yang berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda biasa dengan jumlah soal 30 butir. Data yang terkumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses berbasis lingkungan dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini didasarkan pada hasil analisis data yakni thit lebih besar dari ttab yaitu 3,088 > 2,00. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses berbasis lingkungan lebih tinggi dari rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 77,91 > 77,06. Hal ini berarti penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses berbasis lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Petulu tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.

The purpose of this research was to know the difference of students’ achievement in learning sciece between the students who were learned by skill process approach with environment based and others who were learned by conventional learning method. This research was a fictional research using nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all students in the fifth grade of elementary school Gugus petulu, Ubud. The sample of this research were defined by using rondom sampling technique. The obtained sample were 34 students in the fifth grade of SD 2 Petulu as the experimental group and 32 students in the fifth grade of SD 1 Petulu as control group. The data was collected by using multiple choises test with 30 items of question. The obtained data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis statistics. The result of the research showed that there was significant differences in students’ science achievement between the students learned by skill process approach with environment based and others learned by conventional learning method. It statistically showed that thit was higher than t tab, 3.088 > 2.00. It was also proved by the mean score of the students’ achievement in science is higher when being learned by skill process approach with environment based than being learned by conventional learning method, 77,91 > 77,06. It meant that implementation of skill process approach with environment based had influence toward the students’ achievement in science at the fifth grade students in Gugus Petulu, academic year 2013/2014.
