PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT BERBASIS PROYEK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS IV KEROBOKAN KELOD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbasis proyek dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus IV Kerobokan Kelod tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 7 kelas V di Gugus IV Kerobokan Kelod yang berjumlah 225 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD No. 2 Kerobokan Kelod yang berjumlah 32 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD No. 5 Kerobokan Kelod yang berjumlah 31 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan uji-t terhadap hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian menunjukkan, thit = 3,53 dan ttabel (pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk = 61) = 2,00. Hal ini berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbasis proyek dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional kelas V SD gugus IV Kerobokan Kelod (thit = 3,53 > ttabel = 2,00). Nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol ( x =81,1 > x =75,1). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbasis proyek berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD gugus IV Kerobokan Kelod tahun ajaran 2013/2014.

This study aimed at determining the significant differences in learning outcomes between students who learned science by using NHT cooperative learning model with project based with students who were taught by using conventional teaching method for the fifth grade students of elementary school in Cluster IV Kerobokan Kelod school year 2013/2014. This research is a quasi-experimental research with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research was 7 classes of fifth grade of elementary school in Cluster IV Kerobokan Kelod in which the total of the students were 225 students. The sample of the research was selected by using random sampling method. The sample of this study were 32 students of the fifth grade in SD No. 2 Kerobokan Kelod as the experimental group and 31 students of the fifth grade of SD No. 5 Kerobokan Kelod as the control group. The data that were analyzed in this study were the learning outcomes of the students in science course which were gathered through achievement test. Thus, the data gathered were analyzed by using t-test. Based on the analysis of data by t-test of the hypothesis proposed in the study showed that, thit = 3.53 and ttable (at the 5% significance level and dk = 61) = 2.00. Those meant that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of students who learned science by using the NHT cooperative learning model with project based with the students who were taught by using conventional teaching method for the fifth grade students of elementary school in Cluster IV Kerobokan Kelod (thit = 3.53 > ttable = 2.00). The average value of the experimental group was higher than the average value of the control group ( = 81.1 > = 75.1). It can be concluded that the implementation of NHT cooperative learning model with project based can affect students learning outcomes in science course for the fifth grade students of elementary schools in Cluster IV Kerobokan Kelod school year 2013/2014.
