PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBANTUAN MEDIA BENDA ASLI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media benda asli dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian ini adalah the nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD se-Gugus Kolonel I Gusti Ngurah Rai yakni sebanyak 16 kelas. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, diperoleh kelas VB SD Negeri 4 Ubung sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelas V SD Negeri 2 Ubung sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik parametris yakni uji-t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar IPA pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan rata-rata hasil belajar IPA pada kelompok kontrol. Ini berarti pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media benda asli berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V Semester I SD se-Gugus Kolonel I Gusti Ngurah Rai Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran kontekstual, media benda asli, hasil belajar, dan IPA.
This study aimed to determine significant differences in students achievement IPA between students who learn to use contextual teaching learning which assist by original media with students who learn using conventional learning. This research design is the nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research consisted of 16 class in the fifth grade elementary Gugus Kolonel I Gusti Ngurah Rai. Using a random sampling technique, the sampel of this reasearch is Vb class of SD Negeri 4 Ubung as control groups, dan V SD Negeri 2 Ubung as experiment groups. Data collection method students achievement IPA of using multiple-choice tests. Data were analyzed using parametric statistical techniques namely t-test. The results of the data analysis showed that there mean students achievement IPA of experiment groups are highest between mean students achievement IPA of control groups. This is means contextual teaching learning which assist by original media positively significant effect on students achievement IPA in the fifth grade elementary Gugus Kolonel I Gusti Ngurah Rai Academic Years 2013/2014.
