PENGARUH STRATEGI REACT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi REACT dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model konvensional. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuasi eksperimen non equValent post–test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 138 orang siswa kelas V SD tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di Gugus V Kecamatan Gianyar. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sidan yang berjumlah 30 orang dan kelas V SD Negeri 3 Sidan yang berjumlah 21 orang. Data hasil belajar matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk test pilihan ganda. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji–t). Rata–rata hasil belajar matematika yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi REACT adalah 25,60 sedangkan rata–rata hasil belajar matematika yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional adalah 13,95 sehingga hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi REACT dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensionalKata Kunci : Hasil Belajar Matematika, REACT
This study aimed to determine differences in mathematics achievement between students who take lessons with a strategy of REACT and students who take lessons with the conventional model . To achieve these objectives the research carried out experiments by using a quasi experimental research design non equvalent post-test only control group design . The population was 138 fifth grade elementary students in academic year 2013/2014 in Gianyar District V Cluster . The research sample is fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sidan who were 30 and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Sidan which totaled 21 people . Mathematics student learning outcomes data collected by instruments shaped test multiple choice test . The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (t-test). The average result of learning mathematics is learned with REACT strategy is 25.60 while the average mathematics learning outcomes are learned with the conventional models is 13.95 so the result of this study indicate that there are significant differences in mathematics learning outcomes between the students who learned with REACT strategy and the students who learned with conventional learning models.
