Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe role playing berbasis karakter berbantuan media audiovisual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V semester 1 SD Gugus 4 Kerobokan Kelod. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) menggunakan non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua sekolah Gugus 4 Kerobokan Kelod, yang meliputi 5 SD berjumlah 225 siswa, pengambilan sampel dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah SD No 5 Kerobokan Kelod sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 30 siswa dan SD No 3 Kerobokan Kelod sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 30 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah hasil belajar IPS yang merupakan penggabungan nilai kognitif dan afektif. Nilai kognitif dikumpulkan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk tes pilihan ganda biasa sedangkan nilai afektif dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi sesuai dengan karakter yang dikembangkan. Data dianalisis dengan uji t. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPS yang diperoleh antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe role playing berbasis karakter berbantuan media audiovisual lebih tinggi dari siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan konvensional (80,30>75,77). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe role playing berbasis karakter berbantuan media audiovisual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional dengan t hitung = 3,19 > t tabel = 2,00 pada derajat kebebasan 58 disignifikansi 5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe role playing berbasis karakter berbantuan media audiovisual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Kerobokan Kelod.

This research was intended to know whether or not there was a significant difference between the results of students in studying social which used cooperative role playing based on audiovisual media with the students which used conventional learning method of fifth grade students of first semester in SD Gugus 4 Kerobokan Kelod. This research was made from quasi experiment which was used non equivalent control group design. The population in this research was all the subjects in Gugus 4 Kerobokan Kelod consisted of five elementary schools with total number of the students was 225 and the technique which was used to take the sample was random sampling. The sample in this research was SD 5 Kerobokan Kelod as experimental class consisted of 30 subjects and SD 3 Kerobokan as controlled class consisted of 30 subjects. The data was collected from the result of studying social which was the combination of cognitive and affective score. The cognitive score was collected from the result of test in the form of multiple choices, whereas affective score was collected from observation technique which was in line with character were developed. The data was analyzed with (UJI T/ test t/formula t). The grand mean of the result of studying social which was got between students which was implemented with cooperative role playing method based on character which implemented by audiovisual media were higher than students which studied in conventional learning method (80.30 > 75.77) The result of this research showed that there was a significant difference in studying social with the students which was implemented using cooperative role playing based on character which used audiovisual media and students which studied in conventional learning method by using formula t = 3.19> t table =2.00 in scale 58 which significance 5%. Based on the data, the researcher can conclude that cooperative role playing based on character which used audiovisual media was significance affect with the result of studying social of fifth grade students in SD Gugus 4 Kerobokan Kelod
