PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING DENGAN DUKUNGAN MEDIA AUDIO – VISUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA pada materi organ pernapasan manusia antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan dukungan Media Audio- Visual dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi exsperiment). Desain penelitian ini menggunakan “Nonequivalen Control Group Design”. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah(MI) Al – Muhajirin Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014, jumlahnya 144 orang siswa. Sampel diambil dengan Teknik Random Sampling dengan jumlah 2 kelas terdiri dari 1 sekolah yaitu siswa kelas V.A MI Al – Muhajirin Denpasar sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 33 orang dan siswa kelas V.D MI Al – Muhajirin Denpasar yang berjumlah 31 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Data mengenai hasil belajar organ pernapasan manusia di kelas eksperimen dan di kelas kontrol dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda atau tes objektif serta dianalisis dengan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis uji t-test dapat diketahui terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar organ pernapasan manusia antara siswa yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan dukungan Media Audio- Visual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (thitung = 5,28 > ttabel = 2,000; p >0,05). Rata-rata nilai pada kedua kelompok, diketahui rata-rata nilai kelompok eksperimen lebih besar dari kelompok kontrol ( 1= 84,78> 2= 79,87). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan dukungan Media Audio- Visual berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar organ pernapasan manusia siswa kelas V MI Al – Muhajirin Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : strategi, Quantum Teaching, Media, Audio- Visual, IPA
This study aims to determine significant differences in learning science the material of human respiratory organs among groups of students who take the Quantum Teaching learning supposted by Audio-Visual Media with a group of students who take conventional learning. This research is a quasi experimental. The design of this study using the "Nonequivalen Control Group Design". The study population was Elementary School fifth grade students (MI) Al – Muhajirin Denpasar Academic Year 2013/2014, the number is 144 students. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique with number 2 consists of 1 school classes are VA graders MI Al – Muhajirin Denpasar as an experimental class that numbered 33 people and VD graders MI Al - Muhajirin Denpasar, consist of 31 people as a control class. Data on learning outcomes in the human respiratory organs in the experimental class and the control class were collected using a multiple-choice test or objective test and analyzed by t-test. The results based on t-test analysis can be seen there are significant differences in learning outcomes between students of human respiratory organs which follows the Quantum Teaching learning strategies to supporedt Audio-Visual Media with students who take conventional learning (of t = 5.28> t table = 2.000; p> 0.05). Average values in both groups, known mean value greater experimental group than the control group (1 = 84.78> 2 = 79.87). Thus, it can be concluded that the Quantum Teaching learning strategies supported by Audio-Visual Media influence on learning outcomes of human respiratory organs fifth grade students MI Al – Muhajirin Denpasar Academic Year 2013/2014.
