PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF TGT BERBANTUAN MEDIA QUESTION CARD TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media question card dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas V SD N 17 Dauh Puri Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan quasy eksperiment dengan desain Nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD N 17 Dauh Puri dengan sampel sebanyak 71 siswa, terdiri dari siswa kelas VB sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VC sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data penelitian berupa hasil belajar IPS siswa, dikumpulkan dengan metode tes, dan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji-t.Dari hasil perhitungan uji-t diperoleh thit = 4,31, sedangkan t_tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% atau taraf kepercayaan 95% dengan dk = (36+35) – 2 = 69 adalah 2,00 sehingga, thit > ttabel yang berarti H0 ditolak (gagal diterima) dan Ha diterima. Dengan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media question card dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media question card berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD N 17 Dauh Puri tahun ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT, hasil belajar,IPS
The present research was undertaken in order to know the significant difference of learning result of social sciences subject between the students that used cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with the question card media and the student that used conventional learning of fifth grade students of SD N 17 Dauh Puri academic year 2013/2014. The design of this research was quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in SD N 17 Dauh Puri with a sample of 71 students, comprised of students of VB class as the experimental group and a control group of VC class. The research data is the result of students studying social sciences, collected with the test method, and then analyzed by test-t. From the calculation results obtained thit t-test = 4.31, whereas the significance level of 5% or 95% confidence level with df = (36 +35) - 2 = 69 is 2.00 so, thit> ttable which means that H0 is rejected (fail acceptable) and Ha accepted. With these results we can conclude that there are significant differences of the social sciences learning outcomes between students who take cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament with a media card question and students who take conventional learning. Thus the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with a media card question affects the social sciences learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD N 17 Dauh Puri academic year 2013/2014.
