PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS 8 I GUSTI NGURAH RAI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbantuan multimedia dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas V SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi eksperimen dengan desain yaitu “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 330. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan jumlah 63 siswa dari siswa kelas V SD Negeri 10 Sanur sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Sanur sebagai kelas kontrol. Data hasil belajar IPS di kelas eksperimen maupun di kelas kontrol dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar IPS. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t diketahui terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbantuan multimedia dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas V SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014, dengan nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih dari kelompok kontrol x = 79,1 > x = 73,4 dan hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh thitung = 2.69 > ttabel (α=0,05;61) = 2.00. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbantuan multimedia berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI), Multimedia, Hasil Belajar IPS.
This research was aimed to know about the significant difference between student group’s social science learning result that was taught by Group Investigation assisted with multimedia and student group that was taught by conventional learning at fifth grade class elementary school of Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai year 2013/2014. This research was a quasi experiment with design “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. The population of the research was all of fifth grade student elementary school of Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai year 2013/2014 which a number of 330. Sample was taken by random sampling technique which a number of 63 students from 10 Sanur elementary school as a experiment class and fifth grade student of 4 Sanur elementary school as a control class. Data of social science’s learning result between experiment class and control class were collected by social science learning result test. Then the data were analysed with t test statistic. Depending on the analysis result of t– test could be known that there was a significant differentiation between group student’s evaluation result that was taught by group investigation learning model assisted with multimedia and group of student that was taught by conventional learning at fifth grade class elementary school of Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai year 2013/2014 with average value experiment group was more than control group x = 79,1 > x = 73,4 and analysis result of t-test obtained tcount= 2.69 > ttable (α=0,05;61) = 2.00. So that could be concluded that group investigation learning model assisted with multimedia influenced to fifth grade student elementary school of Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai result of learning.
