Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual Berbantuan Alat Peraga Kartu Huruf Terhadap Keterampilan Membaca Permulaan Pada Siswa Kelas I

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan antara Pembelajaran Kontektual Berbantuan Alat Peraga Kartu Huruf Terhadap Keterampilan Membaca Permulaan Pada Siswa Kelas I Semester I di Gesa Panji Kecamatan Sukasada Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Post Test Only with Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SD di Desa Panji tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dengan jumlah 51 orang. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan tehnik random sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 25orang siswa yaitu siswa kelas I SD Negeri 1 Panji sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan sebanyak 26 orang siswa kelas I SD Negeri 2 Panji sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan membaca yang dikumpulkan dengan instrumen lembar observasi. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji–t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan penguasaan keterampilan membaca antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 87,22 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 64,25. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan membaca siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran kontekstual lebih baik dari keterampilan membaca siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional, dengan kata lain terdapat pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I di Desa Panji.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran kontekstual dan keterampilan membaca
This study aims to determine significant differences between contextual Assisted Learning Letter To The Viewer Tool Card Reading Skills At the onset of the first semester of the first grade students in the District Flag Gesa Sukasada Academic Year 2013/2014 This research is a quasi-experimental research design with Post Test Only with Non- Equivalent Control Group Design . The study population was all students in the elementary class I Panji Village school year 2013/2014 the number of 51 people . The research sample was taken with a random sampling technique and obtained by 25orang students are first graders SD Negeri 1 Panji as the experimental group and 26 students of class I SD State Flag as a control group 2 . The data collected in this study were collected with the reading skills of observation sheet instruments . The data has been collected and analyzed descriptive statistics inferential statistics ( t-test ) . The results showed there were differences in mastery of reading skills among a group of students who study using contextual learning and group of students who are taught using conventional teaching methods . The average value for the experimental class was 87.22 while the control class is 64.25 . This suggests that the reading skills of students who learned with better contextual learning of reading skills of students who learned with conventional learning methods , in other words there is the influence of the application of contextual learning reading skills beginning first grade students in the village of Panji .
