PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI KELAS III SD NEGERI 12 PADANG SAMBIAN KOTA DENPASAR TAHUN 2013/2014

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas III SD negeri 12 Padang Sambian dan 2) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan kooperatif tipe STAD dalam mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III SD Negeri 12 Padang Sambian tahun 2013/2014. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang pelaksanaanya menggunakan pendekatan siklus dengan terdiri atas dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III B SD Negeri 12 Padang Sambian yang berjumlah 40 orang terdiri dari 25 laki-laki dan 15 perempuan. Data tentang keaktifan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan data tentang hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda biasa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajran IPS di kelas III B SD N 12 Padang Sambian dari sebelum siklus ke siklus I dan ke siklus II setelah penerapan kooperatif tipe STAD. Pada sebelum siklus persentase keaktifan belajar sebesar 60,8%, dikategorikan rendah. Pada pelaksanaan siklus I diperoleh persentase keaktifan belajar sebesar 70,3% dikategorikan sedang. Pada pelaksanaan siklus II persentase keaktifan belajar siswa diperoleh sebesar 80,1% dikategorikan tinggi. Berkaitan dengan hasil belajar, pada sebelum siklus persentase hasil belajar sebesar siswa 62,2% dikategorikan rendah dan ketuntasan klasikalnya 55,0%. Pada siklus I persentase hasil belajar siswa sebesar 75,8% dikategorikan sedang dan ketuntasan klasikalnya 74,4%. Selanjutnya pada siklus II persentase hasil belajar sebesar 79,91% dikategorikan tinggi dan ketuntasan klasikalnya 92,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penerapan kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III SD Negeri 12 Padang Sambian.

The aims of this study are: 1) to improve the students learning activenes for the third grade students of SD N 12 Padang Sambian in academic year 2013/2014 and 2) to improve the learning outcomes of social sciences through the cooperatif of Students Team Achivement Division (STAD) approach of third grade students of SD N 12 Padang Sambian in the academic year 2013/2014. This research is Clasroom Action Research (CAR) that”s use cycles approach that consisted of 2 cycles. The subject were the third grade students of SD N 12 Padang Sambian for about 40 students consisted 25 male students and 15 famale students. The data of activenes were collected by using observastion sheet and the learning outcomes were collected by using a test. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result of this research showed that there were improvement of the learning activenes and the students learning outcomes of social science of the third grade students of SD N 12 Padang Sambian from the pre-cycle to the first cycle and to the second cycle after implementing the cooperatif of Studends Team Achivevement Divisison (STAD) approach. In the pre-cycle the percentage of students learning activities is of 60,8% and it was classified at low. In the first cycle the percentage of students learning activities is of 70,3% it was classified at moderate. Then, in the second cycle the percentage of student learning activities is of 80,1% and it was classified at high. Related to the student learning outcomes of social science, in the pre-cycle the percentage is of 62,2% and it was classified at low with the classical exhaustveness of 55,0%. In the fisrt cycle the percentage is of 75,8% and it was classified at moderate with the classical exhaustveness of 74,4%. Next, in the second cycle the percentage is of 79,91% and it was classified at high with the exhaustveness of 92,5%. Based on the result of this research, it could be concluded that the implementing of the cooperative of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) approach can improve the activities and the students learning outcomes of social science at the third grade students SD N 12 Padang Sambian in academic year 2013/2014.
