PENGARUH PENDEKATAN CTL BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V DI SD GUGUS IV KECAMATAN BULELENG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hasil belajar IPA pada siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan CTL berbasis kearifan lokal (2) hasil belajar IPA pada siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvesional (3) perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan CTL berbasis kearifan lokal dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvensional pada siswa kelas V di SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Buleleng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian non-equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Buleleng. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling dan diperoleh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Penglatan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Penglatan sebagai kelas kontrol. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA. Bentuk tes hasil belajar IPA yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Statistik inferensial mengguanakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) data hasil belajar IPA pada siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan CTL berbasis kearifan lokal cenderung tinggi dengan Mo>Md>M (24,30>23,83>22,98) (2) data hasil belajar IPA pada siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvesional cenderung rendah dengan Mo ttabel 2,000. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan CTL berbasis kearifan lokal berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA dan pendekatan CTL lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional.Kata Kunci : Contextual Teaching and Learning, kearifan lokal, hasil belajar IPA
This study aimed to determine (1) science learning outcomes of students who learned with the CTL approach based on local wisdom (2) science learning outcomes in students who learned with the conventional approach (3) differences in outcomes between groups of students learn with CTL approach based on local wisdom and a group of students who learned with the conventional approach to the fifth grade students in Elementary School in Cluster IV Buleleng Subdistrict. This research was a quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The population of this study are all fifth grade students of Elementary School in Cluster IV Buleleng Subdistrict. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique and obtained the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Penglatan as an experimental class and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Penglatan as the control class. The data collected in this study is the outcomes of learning science. Form of science achievement test used was a multiple-choice test. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Used inferential statistical t-test. The results showed that (1) the data on students science learning outcomes are learned with CTL approach based on local wisdom tends to be high with Mo > Md > M (24,30 > 23,83 > 22,98) (2) science learning outcomes data on students who learned with conventional approach tend to be low with Mo < Md < M (19,50 < 19,75 < 20,00) (3) there are significant differences between the groups of science learning outcomes of students who learned with the CTL approach based on local wisdom and group students who learned with the conventional approach. It can be seen from the average value of the experimental group was higher than the average value of the control group, and the results of hypothesis testing with 4,080 tcount > ttable 2,000. Thus, it can be concluded that the CTL approach based on local wisdom positive effect on science learning outcomes and CTL approach is better than conventional approach.
