Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar keterampilan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang belajar dengan model quantum learning melalui teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain the nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Kediri Tabanan. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan sampling purposive. Data keterampilan membaca pemahaman dikumpulkan dengan instrument berupa tes objektif, kemudian data dianalisis dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar keterampilan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang belajar dengan model quantum learning melalui teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan siswa yang belajar mengunakan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SD gugus I Kediri, Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.

This study aims to determine significant differences in learning outcomes of reading comprehension skills between Indonesian students who studied the quantum model of learning by Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) technique and students who studied conventionally. This research is a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class V SD Gugus I Kediri Tabanan. The sample was determined by purposive sampling. The collecting data of reading comprehension skills by instruments are form of an objective test, then the data were analyzed by t-test. The results of the study that there are significant differences in learning outcomes of reading comprehension skills between Indonesian students who studied the quantum model of learning by Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) technique and students who studied conventionally learning models with Indonesian reading comprehension skills of fifth grade SD Gugus I Kediri, in 2013/2014.
