PENGARUH PENDEKATAN JOYFUL LEARNING BERBASIS MULTIMEDIA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS PADA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS 8 I GUSTI NGURAH RAI DENPASAR SELATAN

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran pendekatan joyful learning berbasis multimedia dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas V SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Selatan tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) yang menggunakan non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Selatan tahun ajaran 2013/2014 berjumlah 330 siswa yang tersebar dalam 8 kelas. Dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah hasil belajar IPS siswa, menggunakan tes hasil belajar IPS dalam bentuk pilihan ganda biasa. Data dianalisis dengan uji t. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPS yang diperoleh siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan joyful learning berbasis multimedia lebih dari siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional yaitu x = 80,18 > x = 74,38. Analisis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran melalui pendekatan joyful learning berbasis multimedia dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional dengan thitung = 3,648 > ttabel (α=0,05;78) = 2,00. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan joyful learning berbasis multimedia berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Selatan tahun ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Pendekatan joyful learning berbasis multimedia, hasil belajar, IPS
The purpose of this study is to determine significant differences of social science (IPS) result of students who follow joyful approach of multimedia based learning and conventional learning in the fifth grade on SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Selatan academic year of 2013/2014. This study is a quasi-experimental study that uses non equivalent control group design. Population of this study is the fifth grade of SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Selatan academic year of 2013/2014 amounted to 330 students spread in the eight classes. The sampling uses random sampling. The data collected is social science students learning result, using social studies test results in the form of multiple-choices answer. Data were analyzed by t test. The average results of students social science who learned with multimedia based joyful learning approach is higher than students who learned by conventional learning with x = 80.18 > x = 74.38. The results showed that there were significant differences in learning results of students social science who took multimedia based joyful learning approach than conventional learning with t count = 3.648 > t table ( α = 0.05, 78 ) = 2.00. From these results it can be concluded that multimedia based joyful learning approach effect on learning outcomes social science of fifth grade students of SD Gugus 8 I Gusti Ngurah Rai Denpasar Selatan academic year of 2013/2014.
